Welcome to Dave's Mountain Tours. I'm Dave Rote, the owner of Dave's Mountain Tours and I'm happy to show you around. We've been in the business of showing people a good time since 1995. We operate scenic tours year-round in the San Juan mountains around Telluride, Colorado. In the winter, we'll take you snow-mobiling in pristine forests with spectacular views. In the summer, we'll hop in the four-wheel drive vehicles and explore high alpine passes. Check out our Segway tours this summer! If you've never ridden a Segway, you've got to try our 30 minute Segway Sampler! We also offer fascinating Historic Tours of Telluride via the fabulous Segway. I have been living in Telluride
with my family since 1992. In addition to
running Dave's Mountain Tours, I'm a local columnist, archeologist, and
specialist in the mining history of the San Juan region. I hold
an M.A. in Anthropology from Tulane University and am a graduate of the
International Tour Management Institute of San Francisco. I'd be happy to
