We use the Swiss Army Pinzgauer. These trucks are built in Austria and are exceptional mountain vehicles. With 14” of ground clearance, low gearing, narrow width ( important when needing to pass wider vehicles on such narrow roads), and exceptionally tight turning radius.
One is a 4-wheel drive and have been customized to hold a maximum of 8 plus a driver. Seating is tight and passengers need be friendly.
Our other truck is a 6-wheel drive with room for 13 plus driver. With 2 forward facing bench seats plus the 1 “shotgun” seat up front you get 9 forward facing seats. Don’t be fooled, the turning radius is way better than most “conventional rigs”.
